ScanFast Netbook Backpack

“This is a cool product to complement my Netbook purchase. I guess you need a slim backpack to show you have a slim Netbook. I found it comfortable to take around. It has good fit pockets to carry my usb DVD RW drive as well as portable hard drive and USB cables.

A must have for road warriors like me to survive in the wild and the city likewise. Now if it also came with a powerful solar charger to charge the ever diminishing batteries! :) Guess I have to wait another 50 years for that!

“This is an AWESOME backpack. I'm starting my junior year of college this fall, and because I will have some layovers between classes, I needed something that would hold my Netbook (Inspiron Mini 9), as well as hold my other school gear.

This is perfect for the job! A couple weeks back I had purchased a messenger bag from another company, and while it was nice, it was really designed to hold a 15" laptop, so I had to find something else. I was really glad to find this, because it seems hard to find many bags that will protect a Netbook but also hold 1-2 textbooks. I'm happy to say that this does both, and also leaves me room to bring my iPod, mobile mouse, a notebook, etc.

On another note, I love the all black with metal stuff on it. I'm a guy, and this is definitely a manly backpack. Not some girly man purse. lol.

So yeah, if you're a college student with a Netbook, get this! Totally worth the money.”

“Just about the perfect bag to hold our Asus 12" laptop (which is outstanding btw). Holds laptop along with battery, external mouse, external DVD, along with some room for other things; but still is light weight & small. Would purchase again.

“I figured out that MobileEdge was the oem for one of my other "PC Branded" backpacks. I loved that design, and I really like this one, too. It doesn't have nearly the number of pockets that a larger bag might, but it's got plenty for a netbook user. Netbook users are looking for simple, light, and fast - this backpack does that flawlessly. It has the ubiquitous mp3 player pocket with pass-through headphone port (top center of the back), a small velcro pouch at the bottom back, loops all over the place (for carabiner attachments and the like), a detachable cell phone pocket (don't even think about putting a blackberry in there, too small). The padded laptop compartment is a perfect fit for my AAOD250 w/ 6 cell batt. This is the first case I've found that is. The combination velcro and elastic strap to hold the laptop in place works quite well. For those frequent flyers - emblazened on the laptop compartment is "Checkpoint Friendly", hopefully your TSA agent gets the point. With padded top handles and shoulder straps (with yet more carabiner loops) this is an overall excellent bag. (I'd like to point out however, that it does not have a "Mesh water bottle pouch" as the website suggests - but I, for one, don't care).”
