Video games have become increasingly realistic with superior graphics and integrating modern day news and scenarios. It seems most military styled video games on the market take place abroad, overseas or in some far off distant land. That is until now.
THQ will launch their new video game on March 18th called Home Front. This game takes place right here in the United States. The premise of the video game is North Korea’s Kim Jong-il dies and his son takes over. He then unites North and South Korea and soon other Asian nations join them. This game is going to be unlike any other I have seen.
Mobile Edge played a small role in this game with our corporate Mobile Edge logo being placed at various locations throughout the game. While gamers are playing their new Home Front game, they will see Mobile Edge on billboards and on buildings in the background of the game. Given our experience and history with Alienware as their exclusive manufacturer of their gaming laptop bags and cases, we are proud to have teamed up with THQ on this game. Look out for the Mobile Edge logo in the game. Take a picture with your phone of the screen with the Mobile Edge logo in the background and post the picture on our Mobile Edge Facebook Page. I’ll personally send you a FREE Mobile Edge gift for your time.
Taken directly from the Homefront-game.com website, here is their story which explains how this game will truly be different than any other game on the market. Of course it will come in all versions for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and for PC’s. Get your copy March 18th!
“The year is 2027. The world as we know it is unraveling after 15 years of economic meltdown and widespread global conflict over dwindling natural resources.”
“A once proud America has fallen, her infrastructure shattered and military in disarray. Crippled by devastating EMO strike, the USA is powerless to resist the ever expanding occupation of a savage, nuclear armed Greater Korean Republic.”
“Abandoned by her former allies, the United States is a bleak landscape of walled towns and abandoned suburbs. This is a police state where high school stadiums have become detention centers, and shopping malls shelter armored vehicles. A once free people are now prisoners.”
