Yesterday (April 23) at approximately 4 p.m. in the afternoon we had a small but strong 3.8 Magnitude Earthquake here in Anaheim, Calif. Mobile Edge Headquarters was rocking. I personally sit on the second floor and our offices were gyrating back and forth for about six to seven seconds. My colleague Laura Lazzaro yelled out "EARTHQUAKE!" Everyone else just froze in place and rode it out until the shaking subsided. We did have one small casualty, a Mobile Edge Teddy Bear fell from a desk. Don't worry, the bear is fine and is now safe on a desk.Normal operations were not interrupted, and orders were fulfilled.
At 11:42 a.m. (PST) there was a 5.4 magnitude earthquake that shook all of Southern California, including the Mobile Edge Corporate Office located in Anahiem. The epicenter was located in Chino Hills, Calif., approximately 10 miles from our office. Although the staff and products were jolted around a bit, everyone and all products are fine. All orders will ship on time without a hitch. The shock waves felt more like waves traveling through the building rather than sharp jolts. From several news organizations, rolling shock waves actually cause less damage than the sharp snaps as felt in the Northridge Earthquake back in 1994.Below is a copy of a map of the Epicenter.
